There are three types of Venetian Blinds: PS*, Aluminium and Wooden Venetian Blinds. Venetian blinds are made up of horizontal slats stacked on top of one another. The key advantage of Venetian blinds is its ability to provide precise control over light and privacy.

Polystyrene (PS) Venetian Blinds or faux wood Venetian window blinds are easy to clean and lighter than Wooden ones. The polystyrene material is hardier as it can withstand the heat & sun in Singapore better than the phased out PVC Venetian blinds.

Venetian blinds comes in three systems: normal, gear and motorised. Each systems have their own pros and cons in operating the blinds, safety and costs.

Normal System PS Venetian Blinds

Normal system PS Venetian blinds are standard types of blinds that have a 4 cord mechanism to control the slat tilts and also to pull the blinds up or down. It requires a little more effort in operating your blinds when it comes to raising or releasing (lowering) them.

Pros of Normal System Venetian Blinds:

Lower in cost
Faster to raise your blinds by pulling on the cords
Easy to operate once you learn how to use the cords

Cons of Normal System Venetian Blinds:

Confusing cords as there are 4 of them
Require much strength to operate – may not be suitable for children & elderly
Can raise safety concerns if you have young children or pets with the cords dangling

Gear System PS Venetian Blinds

Gear system PS Venetian blinds have just 1 loop cord for operating the whole set of blind. You will be able to control the slats tilt and height of raising or releasing the blinds with just that one loop cord.

Pros of Gear System Venetian Blinds:

Fuss-free one cord to tilt and operate the blinds
Easy and simple to operate – suitable for children and elderly

Cons of Gear System Venetian Blinds:

Slightly higher in cost compared to normal system
Slow to pull up blinds as it is one loop/gear system

A: The prices stated in our Condo curtain packages are estimated due to the nature of difference in measurements of condo. They are for Condominium windows that are not over 3m x 2.6m (width x height).

A: Our standard package provides a budget friendly solution for you with quality curtains. While our premium package includes a wider range of fabric selection that’s of higher quality and includes free day curtain.

A: No, we are not a GST registered company at the moment. So you get to enjoy rates with no GST fees.

A: You do not need to do so. You can book an appointment with us to enjoy a free consultation and measurement of your home or office windows. Alternatively, you may read our guide to learn how to measure your windows.

Q8: When do you recommend me to book a consultation?

A: We would love to provide you with an accurate quotation when we go down for a consultation. For new homeowners or if you are refurnishing, we advice that you have 60% of flooring work completed before booking a consultation.

Q14: Do you have warranty for your curtains and roller blinds ?
A: Yes, we provide 2-year warranty for our curtain track and blind mechanisms. Do note that wear and tear from normal use are not covered.

Q15: How long is the whole process of your service to install curtains and blinds?
A: From the point of appointment until installation, it will take approximately 7 to 10 working days. During festive seasons, it will take up to 14 working days for the whole process to complete.

Q16: How long do you guys take to install the curtains and blinds?
A: Installation takes about 2 hours to complete. For the whole process from consultation to installation, refer to previous question.
