How To Clean Fabric Blinds

Fabric blinds are mostly low maintenance and can be cleaned with simple vacuuming just like curtains.

Fabric blinds includes: Roller Blinds, Roman Blinds, Korean Blinds and Cellular Blinds

For cleaning fabric blinds, you can make use of a lint roller or low-setting vacuum with dusting brush and run it along the blinds.

You’ll also note that some blinds can be washed to get a cleaner result. However, do make sure to read up instructions for dismantling and care of the material before you do it!

If your roller blind can be washed, use mild detergent and delicate machine wash to prevent your fabric roller blinds from getting damaged while washing.

How To Clean Clean Venetian Blinds

Venetian blinds made with horizontal slats and are suspended together. As these slats are stacked together, they overlap one another and can then block out sunlight when closed.

They can also be lifted up or let down, or rotated to 180 degrees to open up and let light in. And since they are made of solid material, you only need to dust them by using a lint roller or wipe them with a wet cloth.

Cleaning Wooden Venetian Blinds

As Wooden Venetian Blinds are made of wood, you should keep them away from high moisture areas and avoid using a very wet cloth on them.

For maintenance, you can clean them by:

• Dusting
• Light cleaning with a damp cleaning cloth
• Wipe with soapy water
• Avoid using any chemical on it

We recommend only dusting wooden Venetian blinds but if you need to use damp cloth or soapy water, be extra careful to not wet the wood and let them dry immediately to prevent your blinds from warping.

How To Clean Vertical Blinds

Vertical blinds are often used in condos , schools or commercial offices as they look sleek and elegant. An example of vertical blinds would be Unislat blinds.

Vertical blinds require only very little maintenance and can be cleaned with soft, damp cloth or by using a lint roller.
